What are the Very First Signs of Bells Palsy?

Bells Palsy is a condition of rapid-onset facial paralysis that can cause significant morbidity. It is believed to be caused by damage to the nerves in the face, although the exact mechanism is unknown.

The very first signs of Bells Palsy include weakness or paralysis on one side of the face leading to loss of expression, drooping eyelids and lips, difficulty in closing the eyes and smiling, changes to taste sensation on the affected side of the face, and excessive tear production.

If you experience any of these signs, it is important to seek medical attention as soon as possible in order to receive prompt treatment.
